Learn More About Provenance Watches
Provenance (n.): "the place of origin or earliest known history of something"
To collectors, the origin of a watch can be immensely important. Look no further than the "Paul Newman" Rolex that Paul Newman actually wore; it recently sold for almost $18,000,000 at auction. Why? Provenance. When you buy a watch from our shop, you should know this is the start of something special. This is a watch with a rich history that you will want to add to. Something people will ask you about; something truly interesting.
We split our time between the UK and Japan. As life long Seiko collectors, we've always tinkered with our builds; a simple bezel insert swap here or anti-reflective crystal change there. In 2020 we became obsessed with the Seiko modding community, and spent three years finding any excuse to modify watches for friends and family. We've always preferred unique builds over the "homages" you frequently see online, and we recently decided to sell some of our custom creations, as well as rarer vintage Seiko originals.
Every watch in our shop is of the highest quality and available for next day dispatch. All watches are sent in a beautifully crafted and custom made leather travel case which ensures safe delivery and makes for a great gift or storage box.
Our Core Principles
We have been sourcing rare Japanese watches for enthusiastic clients for a number of years. We are proud to ensure the following:
- All of our watches are inspected by professionals and guaranteed to be authentic. You can buy with the utmost confidence.
- Our watches are well documented and described accurately. You will always get the full picture when buying from us.
We also make our own custom watches:
- All of our Seiko Mods are watches we've designed, sourced and made ourselves. We don't upcharge for other people's designs.
- We don't make "homages". If your Seiko Mod looks like a Rolex but says Seiko on the dial it's simply a weird fake; not a Seiko Mod.
- We don't just rely on manufacturer testing - we regulate all of our movements, and pressure test all of our cases used in our custom built watches.
We're confident that keeping these tenants sacred will lead to you, the customer, having the best watch buying experience possible - before, during and after the sale.
