Learn More About Provenance Watches

Provenance (n.): "the place of origin or earliest known history of something"
To collectors, the origin of a watch can be immensely important. Look no further than the "Paul Newman" Rolex that Paul Newman actually wore; it recently sold for almost $18,000,000 at auction. Why? Provenance.
We are focused on giving you the most detailed history of the pieces we find as we explore Japan’s antique watch markets. Whether it’s a vintage Grand Seiko, neo-vintage Campanola, or modern Lotec masterpiece, if the watch has a story to tell, we’ve got it covered.
When you buy a watch from our shop, you should know this is the start of something special. The watches we source are not commonly seen in the West. This is something people will ask you about - something truly unique.
Every watch in our shop is of the highest quality and available for next day dispatch. All watches are sent fully insured and trackable door-to-door.
Our time is split between Japan and the UK.

Our Core Principles
We have been sourcing rare Japanese watches for enthusiastic clients for a number of years. We are proud to ensure the following:
- All of our watches are inspected by professionals and guaranteed to be authentic. You can buy with the utmost confidence.
- Our watches are well documented and described accurately. You will always get the full picture when buying from us.
We also make our own custom watches:
- We don't make "homages". If your Seiko Mod looks like a Rolex but says Seiko on the dial it's simply a weird fake; not a Seiko Mod.
- We don't just rely on manufacturer testing - we regulate all of our movements, and pressure test all of our cases used in our custom built watches.
We're confident that keeping these tenants sacred will lead to you, the customer, having the best watch buying experience possible - before, during and after the sale.
Sign up to our Weekly Newsletter below. We won't inundate you with nonsense; you will receive up to one email per week that details all of our upcoming watches for the following week.
