The Collection. The astronomical term Node - the point at which two orbits intersect - was chosen as the name for this neo-vintage collection because it perfectly matched the design philosophy. At the time, every Credor blended classic stylings with bold, unconventional elements, aiming to sit at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

The Look. The GCLL995 on offer today takes a more traditional approach to the moonphase complication - but with the sort of Credor twist I love. And while the overall look is undeniably minimalist, there are a few subtle details that could easily be missed.

The Design. The façade of the GCLL995 is impressively texture-forward. The dial is split into two stacked layers and adorned with concentric circles. The indices, along with the collection-defining 24/7 motif, sit atop the raised outer ridge. The central subsection houses the applied yama (山) crest and a power reserve indicator that straddles both levels.

The Texture. The four sets of circles have different origin points for their concentric texture, resulting in a finish reminiscent of ripples on a lake crashing into one another. I sound like a Grand Seiko brochure, but it fits the Node’s general theme of intersection too well for me to ignore. 

The Moon. And speaking of things that are hard to ignore, the disc that carries the titanium moon is actually made from mother-of-pearl. A tiny detail that’s easy to miss - but hit it with light from the right angle and you’ll see the familiar iridescent pinks and purples.

The Case. The case’s sharp angles and the articulated plate-link bracelet provide plenty of opportunities for a healthy mix of brushing and polishing, giving the watch a distinctive but aggressive look. But thanks to its titanium construction, the watch itself is surprisingly lightweight and sporty.

The Complication. Despite Grand Seiko’s broad catalogue, they’ve never been blessed with the Moonphase Spring Drive - that sole honour belongs to Credor (and one Seiko branded watch). While the movement isn’t technically retired, it’s been almost ten years since the last moonphase release.

The Balance. The GCLL995 is masterfully put together. Its Moonphase and Power Reserve indicators not only balance the dial but are also tastefully understated, ensuring the beautiful finishing remains the star of the show.

We are based in Japan and regularly ship all over the world. We typically use FedEx and it takes:

  • 3-7 business days to reach Asia and Oceania.

All of our packages are securely shipped, fully insured, and trackable door-to-door.

What condition are your watches?

Due to the vintage and neo-vintage nature of the watches we typically sell, the condition varies from watch to watch. However, our photos are high resolution and our descriptions are accurate. You can buy with confidence knowing there won't be any nasty surprises.

If the condition of a watch is ever misrepresented, we would offer a full refund.

Are all of your watches serviced?

Most but not all of our watches are serviced. The "Condition" section of each watch will confirm if the watch has been serviced.

All of our watches are tested by an independent watchmaker - if a service is needed, the watch will be serviced. If a service hasn't been conducted, it's because the watch itself is too new to need a service, or there is evidence of a recent service.

What payment methods do you accept?

Do I have to pay customs or taxes?

It depends on so many factors, including but not limited to the cost of the watch, the type of watch you've bought (vintage or new), and the import laws of your country. If you're unsure we recommend checking the import laws that relate to your country before ordering.

Are your watches water resistant?

Our serviced watches are typically tested to their original water resistant specifications, but we would never recommend pushing vintage or neo-vintage watches to their depth limits.

What is your returns policy?

Due to the vintage and neo-vintage nature of most of our watches, we do not offer returns under normal circumstances. All sales should be considered final.
