Origins. In 2019, the French-Swiss company Klokers closed its doors after the high failure rates of its Klok-02 GMT watch. On full release, they had over a million Dollars in failed cases and movements. They eventually went into receivership and were bought out so, technically speaking, the Klokers brand lives on but they definitely don’t make this cursed watch anymore. Luckily, according to Klokers, the failure of these watches was typically immediate and very binary - either it worked out of the box or it didn’t. I’ve managed to obtain what appears to be one of the “lucky ones” (Kloker’s words, not mine!). As you might imagine, the odd design is the result of even odder complications
Retrograde. The retrograde seconds hand doesn’t count seconds. Sure, it ticks like a seconds hand but it’s actually ticking every 1.5 seconds. The second markers along the top? There are 40 of them, not 60. One full retrograde sweep still represents a minute, but good luck trying to use the seconds hand to count to 10! The retrograde minute hand only moves once every five minutes. What time is it? Somewhere between 11:05 and 11:10. It’s more accurate than using the position of the sun… but only just.
GMT. Push the 4 o’clock crown and the GMT element shines as the dual discs cycle through 24 cities.
Smart Strap. The watch head unclips, in some sort of pre-smart watch attempt at making changing straps effortless. I admit, it really does make changing straps effortless! You also have the option of unclipping your watch and turning it into a pocket watch or desk clock. Fortunately, Klokers 2.0 were kind enough to keep the proprietary case/strap hardware compatible with both old and new Kloks alike.
Condition: As demonstrated by the videos, the watch currently works but we offer absolutely no guarantees with the watch. It is very much sold as is. There is a small crack in the GMT city window, and there are a couple of cosmetic marks on the case, but overall the watch head is in good working condition. The video demonstrates all of the various functions. There strap is usable but worn on the underside. As mentioned earlier, the Klokers website sells straps, pocket watch, and desk mounting options that should all fit the Klok-02.

What condition are your watches?
Due to the vintage and neo-vintage nature of the watches we typically sell, the condition varies from watch to watch. However, our photos are high resolution and our descriptions are accurate. You can buy with confidence knowing there won't be any nasty surprises.
If the condition of a watch is ever misrepresented, we would offer a full refund.
Are all of your watches serviced?
Most but not all of our watches are serviced. The "Condition" section of each watch will confirm if the watch has been serviced.
All of our watches are tested by an independent watchmaker - if a service is needed, the watch will be serviced. If a service hasn't been conducted, it's because the watch itself is too new to need a service, or there is evidence of a recent service.

Do I have to pay customs or taxes?
It depends on so many factors, including but not limited to the cost of the watch, the type of watch you've bought (vintage or new), and the import laws of your country. If you're unsure we recommend checking the import laws that relate to your country before ordering.
Are your watches water resistant?
Our serviced watches are typically tested to their original water resistant specifications, but we would never recommend pushing vintage or neo-vintage watches to their depth limits.
What is your returns policy?
Due to the vintage and neo-vintage nature of most of our watches, we do not offer returns under normal circumstances. All sales should be considered final.
