Seiko 6119-8300; Blue “Rally” Diver
Seiko 6119-8300; Blue “Rally” Diver
Originally purchased from a vintage collector in Japan, this 1960s “Rally” Diver from Seiko has managed to retain all of its original parts (apart from the bracelet).
Model: 6119-8300 / Rally Diver
Year: March 1969
The Re-release. The immense popularity of these 50-year-old divers led to a reimagined version of them (SRPK65/67) being re-released this year. The one I am selling today is a very early iteration of this model (March 1969) from a time when Seiko used to use “Water Proof” instead of the now preferred (due to its accuracy) “Water Resistant” nomenclature.
The Magic Button. The date wheel is quickset by pushing in the crown. It functions perfectly.
The Condition. Given that the parts are original (apart from the bracelet), it’s in remarkably good condition. The dial is a stunning royal blue and needs to be seen in person. The crystal has small and shallow scratches across it (visible in the photos) but the dark blue dial prevents them from being particularly obvious. The bezel and case have signs of wear but are definitely in good condition overall. The bezel turns smoothly in both directions, as intended.
Scope: No box or manual, so I will ship it in a Provenance Watches leather case.
Movement: Manual wind 28,800 bph with 29 jewels, and a dial power reserve (40 hours).
Dimensions:
- Case Width: 41.0mm
- Case Thickness: 11.4mm
- Bracelet: Non-original oyster style bracelet. Fits up to a 9" wrist.
Delivered in a beautiful custom stamped (Provenance Watches) leather travel case. Makes for a perfect gift.

Do I have to pay customs or taxes?
It depends on so many factors, including but not limited to; the cost of the watch, the type of watch you've bought (vintage, new, or modified), and the import and tax laws of your country. If you're unsure we recommend checking the import laws that relate to your country before ordering.
Are your watches water resistant?
All of our watch mods are tested by our own pressure depth testing equipment, and are guaranteed to resistant water up to 50m of depth. Seiko Originals have varied levels of depth resistance, which will be stated in the description of each watch.
Can I modify an existing design?
We welcome all ideas! Get in touch via the Contact Us page and we can let you know the possibility and cost of any potential alterations.
What is your returns policy?
Due to the hand-made nature of the Seiko Mods, we offer a 7 day returns period after the watch has been received. The returner must bear the cost of the returns, and the watch must be returned in the same condition as it arrived. We do not offer returns on any bespoke or custom-made watches.
Due to the vintage nature of the Seiko Originals, returns are considered on a case-by-case basis, as vintage items typically have a no returns policy.
