The Design. The Rallymeter firmly rides the line between ugly and pretty, thanks to its unapologetically functional design. The tachymetere and various slide rules aren’t afraid to crowd its face - making it an obvious product of its time.
The Features. Despite the sheer amount of information on display, the design carefully separates each element, allowing the watch to remain legible.
The high-contrast, bi-directional tachymeter allows for easy speed calculations
Sitting below the tachymeter is the 10-90 logarithmic track. Its elevation above the rest of the dials gives it visual clarity
The concentrically brushed silver ring is a minute and hour slide rule for conversions - split by a dazzling blue that Seiko has employed on other examples of Rallymeters from different eras
And finally, the applied hour markers sit centrally on a black sunburst dial
The Chronograph. The bright orange seconds hand belongs to the flyback complication. Thanks to the vertical clutch setup, it’s mechanically preferable to leave the chronograph running continuously, unlike horizontal clutches that wear out if used for too long.
The Usage. Ultimately, you and I both know you’re going to use this like a chronograph. The fact it functions like an analogue computer means nothing to most people in a world where we have digital computers in our pockets. It’s from a bygone era - but fortunately, Seiko didn’t sacrifice form in pursuit of function with the 7015-7010. Modern collectors have been left with a watch that is visually compelling, however they choose to use it.

Condition: In very good condition overall. Just serviced. Various marks can be seen across the case and bezel, but the dial and crystal are in great shape. Original bracelet.

Are all of your watches serviced?
Most but not all of our watches are serviced. The "Condition" section of each watch will confirm if the watch has been serviced.
All of our watches are tested by an independent watchmaker - if a service is needed, the watch will be serviced. If a service hasn't been conducted, it's because the watch itself is too new to need a service, or there is evidence of a recent service.

What condition are your watches?
Due to the vintage and neo-vintage nature of the watches we typically sell, the condition varies from watch to watch. However, our photos are high resolution and our descriptions are accurate. You can buy with confidence knowing there won't be any nasty surprises.
If the condition of a watch is ever misrepresented, we would offer a full refund.
Do I have to pay customs or taxes?
It depends on so many factors, including but not limited to the cost of the watch, the type of watch you've bought (vintage or new), and the import laws of your country. If you're unsure we recommend checking the import laws that relate to your country before ordering.
Are your watches water resistant?
Our serviced watches are typically tested to their original water resistant specifications, but we would never recommend pushing vintage or neo-vintage watches to their depth limits.
What is your returns policy?
Due to the vintage and neo-vintage nature of most of our watches, we do not offer returns under normal circumstances. All sales should be considered final.
