The Design. A subtle Presage design, despite the busy face. Featuring a circular day-date complication, as well as a power reserve indicator. The three sub-dials are recessed into the jet-black dial, which gives the watch just enough flair to feel like a Presage without overdoing it.
The Movement. Inside is a 6R21, which is essentially a hi-beat upgrade to the more standard Presage 6R15 movement. With 28,888 bph, 29 jewels, and the circular day-date complication with power reserve, this movement is typically found in the more expensive Seiko Ananta line, rather than in Presages. That’s great news for us though, as it retains the Presage price point despite the Ananta movement!
The Spec. It isn’t just the movement that received an upgrade. A lot of the Presage range uses Seiko’s proprietary Hardlex, but the SARW015’s crystal is sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the underside. The case is anti-magnetic and is rated to 10 bars of pressure.
The Bracelet. The original bracelet, able to accommodate up to a 7.3 inch (18.5cm) wrist.
Condition: In very good condition overall. The crystal and dial unmarked. The case has a hairline scratches, but nothing particularly noticeable or unpleasant. The bracelet also has some hairlines and fits a 18.5cm (7.3”) wrist. The place with the most marks is the bezel, but it’s a brushed bezel so they aren’t overly eye-catching unless you’re looking for them.
Scope: No box or papers, so it will be sent in a secure leather travel case.
